Extremely rare Pacific Jazz demo LP from the mid 1950s. It was strictly designed to send out to DJs in order to get air time for Pacific Jazz tunes. It comes in a custom cover with a whole lot of printing on it, both front and back. The front cover has a graphic of a trumpet player, and text describing the intent of the LP. The back cover is a well-designed play list for the DJs. Included is MF with Bud Shank on the 3 Trombones tune Little Girl Blue. MF is specifically credited on this tune in the liner notes. And folks, I'm not kidding about this being ultra rare. They were pressed in a very small quantity, and most copies are now long gone. Vinyl is truly NM and jacket has almost no wear, save for a slight edgwear on top corner. |
