The Who Encore Series FAQ's Q: I noticed The Who cd's are £15.00? Can I pay in dollars? A: You will be charged in sterling but your credit card company will bill you in your national currency. Q: How long will it take to receive the CD's I purchase? A: Orders will commence to be taken immediately after each show. Mastering, pressing and packaging will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks from the actual show date. Your credit card will be held and charged immediately before shipping. You will receive an email confirmation that your credit card has been processed. Orders will ship sequentially by order number, on a first come - first served basis. Please allow at least 30 days for delivery, from shipping date. Q: How are the shows recorded? A: Each show is recorded, in it's entirety, utilizing a set-up that takes the direct soundboard mix and also includes ambient microphones set up at each venue to more closely recreate the sound as heard by concertgoers. Q: Will any other concerts be available as part of the Encore Series? A: We plan to offer any future shows by The Who for pre-order approximately 2 weeks before the actual performance. As of right now only the "Isle of Wight" show has been announced, and it will be offered for advance ordering in May 2004. You can sign up to be notified of any upcoming releases by clicking on "Other Shows" on The Who Encore Series Main Page. Q: Will there be a complete box set for sale inclusive of all the concerts? A: We don¹t know how many shows will ultimately be released, but there very well could be a box at the end. In the case that a box is made available, we will allow customers of the earliest shows to purchase an "Upgrade" box that will contain only the shows they need to complete the box...at a discounted rate. Q: Can I buy these in stores or at the concert venues? A: NO only on the internet via TheMusic.com. Q: Are these limited editions? A: Yes, they are absolutely limited editions. Although we don't set a cap, they will only be available as long as quantities last. Q: How can I pay for it? A: You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express only). Q: Will there be vinyl issues? A: Nothing is planned at this time. Q: Can I change details on my order? A: We have made it possible for consumers to change their order up until the date the order is processed and shipped. To change an order you must login to your account on TheMusic.com and review your order number and you can then make changes and resubmit. Your old order will be cancelled and the changes incorporated into a new order number. You will be emailed a notification of your cancelled order and confirmation of your new order. Your old order will appear in your account page as cancelled and the new order will be listed as pending until it is processed and shipped. Please be careful to enter your billing information and your email address correctly to avoid problems in processing your order. Orders cannot be changed after being processed. Q: How are the CDs being sent to customers? A: All orders will ship from Los Angeles, California. In the U.S., orders will ship via UPS or USPS depending on the service you choose. DHL and International Mail will be used for any orders outside the U.S. With various options and pricing based on delivery time. Q: Will there be a DVD or Video released of any of the shows? A: There are no plans for releasing DVDs for any shows of this tour in conjunction with the Encore Series. Q: How are shipping costs determined? A: Through our partnership with UPS and DHL we can offer shipping charges for each order depending on the service you choose at checkout. Q: What charities will the profits be given to? A: All profits will go to a number of bona fide young peoples' charities supported by The Who . Specifics to be announced. Q: Why are the CDs so costly? A: TheMusic.com and Eelpie.com are providing an exclusive and collectable two CD set, the profits from which will benefit young peoples' charities at the expense of bootleggers. Your purchase will help those less fortunate and we thank you on behalf of The Who. Q: On what basis do you ship orders? A: We ship entirely on a first come, first served basis as soon as all the CDs in your order are available. Your entire order is packaged in one container and that means that we will wait until the latest CD in your order is made and released before the package is shipped.
