In 2004, Peter Gabriel performed over 40 concerts in Europe on his “Still Growing Up tour.” Most of these shows were performed “In The Round” and are considered a continuation of the 2003 “Growing Up” tour as Peter Gabriel was joined on stage again by David Rhodes, Rachel Z, Tony Levin, Melanie Gabriel, Ged Lynch and Richard Evans. In June and July Peter also headlined around 20 music festivals as well.
All shows were recorded live as part of the 2004 Peter Gabriel Encore Series.
The Encore Series consists of Official “Bootleg” style recordings from each show, recorded directly from the soundboard (with added ambient microphones) by Ben Findlay (Real World staff engineer) and released as a professionally mastered and manufactured 2 CD sets (not cheap CD-Rs).
They come in a gatefold package with exclusive artwork designed for the Encore Series by Real World and are unique for each concert, and city. As well, there are two box sets available on a first come, first served basis.
